About CDC Learning Center

OUR MISSION

The CDC Learning Center is dedicated to fostering economic growth and community development by empowering individuals with technology, business and entrepreneurial skills that align with regional workforce needs. The learning center is committed to providing accessible, high-quality, and inclusive education through innovative programs and strategic partnerships in a supportive applied learning environment.

The CDC Learning Center's target audience  consists of  Digital Basics learners, Curious Learners, Individual Professional Learners and Organizational Learners.

The CDC Learning Center is located in downtown Charleston at 4 Conroy Street. This easily accessible facility, which is a part of the Charleston Tech Center campus, is located in the federally designated Opportunity Zone (OZ).

Recognizing the need for long-term success and sustainability, the CDC Learning Center is comprised of of corporate, public, and non-profit organizations who serve as strategic partners and advisors to the organization. These partners play a role with curriculum development and delivery, organization strategy, financial support, and outreach to historically underserved communities.
